Your child’s development will be documented in their personal profile on the Learning Journals platform, providing a detailed record of their progress.
Additionally, you’ll receive updates on nursery activities and events through the Parent School App, keeping you connected to all the exciting happenings.
LEARNING JOURNALS
Learning Journals is a secure, user-friendly online platform where your child’s key worker will share updates on their learning, milestones, and development through photos, notes, and stories. You can engage by adding comments and sharing your child’s achievements from home.
All updates are aligned with the curriculum or learning frameworks, making it easy to track your child’s progress across various developmental areas. Once your child joins Hoodles Childcare, their key worker will guide you on setting up your Learning Journals account.
WHAT IS THE SCHOOL APP FOR PARENTS?
Alongside Learning Journals, you’ll receive access to the Parent School App, where you can stay updated on nursery news and events. This includes details about special occasions like Parent’s Evenings, Stay and Play Sessions, festive celebrations, weekly lunch menus, and playroom activities, such as current learning themes or special events like World Book Day, Kindness Week, Children’s Art Day, and National Fitness Day.
The app’s calendar feature ensures you never miss an important date or event.
